The Medical University of South Carolina is a large tertiary care medical center in Charleston, South Carolina that serves the population of SC and surrounding states for cutting edge medical care and research. The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Sleep Medicine is comprised of >30 faculty who provide care across the spectrum of lung diseases. As a NIH Clinical Translational Science Award (CTSA) site, the division in active in clinical trials across the spectrum of pulmonary medicine through the South Carolina Clinical & Translational Research Institute (SCTR) in their Research Nexus. MUSC employs more than 12,000 individuals in the Charleston Metropolitan area to facilitate education, research, and clinical care.
