Jackson Comfort Services is partnering with the American Lung Association this November to help defeat lung cancer, advance early detection, and champion clean air for all. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States. For the entire month of November in honor of Lung Cancer Awareness Month, Jackson Comfort Services will be donating directly to the American Lung Association through their Comfort For A Cause program.

Today, the American Lung Association Research Institute announced it has invested $22 million in new research grants, clinical research and strategic partnerships to advance the understanding, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of lung disease.

Today, the American Lung Association launched a new campaign aimed at educating the public on the importance of staying up to date on recommended vaccinations for the upcoming respiratory virus season. This guidance is especially critical for the more than 35 million people in the United States living with chronic lung disease and the 235,000 people diagnosed with lung cancer each year, who are at higher risk for severe illness.
