Smokefree Housing with Mental Health America [VIDEO]

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued a final rule that requires Public Housing Agencies/Authorities (PHA) to implement a smokefree housing rule for all public housing properties. The American Lung Association partnered with Mental Health America of Kentucky to discuss the correlation between mental illness and smoking, the HUD smokefree housing rule and the impact secondhand smoke has on all residents, as well as how they supported communities in Kentucky.
