My sister passed away at 19-years-old due to a fatal asthma attack. She had many triggers including allergies, smoke, heat/humidity, etc. I know that the air she breathed had a direct effect on her health. I had no idea that asthma could or would take her life.

We need to fight for cleaner air, stricter smoking laws, education, and research to lower the number of deaths caused by asthma. It was my sister's wish to cure asthma and I hope someday that will happen.
