My second son was born with a complex congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome which means he is missing the left side of his heart. He has had three open heart surgeries and multiple cardiac catheterizations. In addition, he has an immune deficiency and asthma and has suffered chronic upper respiratory infections, pneumonia. and many emergency room visits and hospitalizations due to his asthma. Healthy air is incredibly important to his health!
