Turquoise Takeover 2018

Each year during the second week of May, the American Lung Association's LUNG FORCE initiative celebrates National Women's Lung Health Week and Turquoise Takeover – bringing the country together in a national conversation to raise awareness of lung cancer, the #1 cancer killer of women and men in the U.S.

The campaign's color, a bright and hopeful turquoise, symbolizes our work to take lung cancer out of the shadows and help raise awareness to give the attention—and research funding—needed to defeat the disease. From landmarks, to city skyscrapers to Facebook & Twitter profiles—together, we turn turquoise!

Check back next April for more information about Turquoise Takeover 2019 (May 12 – 18, 2019) and to learn how you can join the FORCE for lung health!
