Learning About Healthy Living: Tobacco and You

Group Treatment Manual

Learning About Healthy Living (LAHL) is designed to be used in a group setting. It provides a format to address commercial tobacco with people who have mental illness or other substance use challenges, who are ready to make a change or who are simply contemplating a change in the future.

LAHL is a free educational and motivational group curriculum with 2 separate tracks based on readiness. The treatment can be implemented in clinical and nonclinical settings.  It includes a facilitator guide, participant worksheets, medication education handouts, an assessment tool that includes vaping, and sample treatment plans.

Lungs and Minds at Work Animated Short

Lungs and Minds at Work is a resource to use in reaching out to mental health and substance use treatment providers. The video encourages decision makers to feel empowered and confident to move forward in improving the health and well-being of clients and staff by integrating tobacco treatment and implementing tobacco-free grounds policies.
