Reliever-Triggered Inhaled Glucocorticoid in Black and Latinx Adults with Asthma - The New England Journal of Medicine

Barbara Kaplan, MPH, the National Director of Asthma Programs for the American Lung Association, served on the advisory council of this study, which reveals that Black and Latinx patients who used an inhaled glucocorticoid as needed along with usual care had improved asthma outcomes. Co-author Juan Carlos Cardet, M.D., is a current grantee of the American Lung Association- AAAI Allergic Respiratory Diseases Award.
