Organization of Outpatient Care After COVID-19 Hospitalization – Chest

This study of 47 hospitals looked at the diagnosis, treatment, and follow up of COVID-19 patients after discharge from hospitalization. This research promotes multidisciplinary clinics to share data and standardize care to prevent and treat long COVID. Co-author Dr. Terri Hough was funded by the Lung Association COVID-19 Respiratory Virus Research Award, in addition to a Lung Association partnership grant with the National Institutes of Health Recovery after COVID-19 Hospitalization (REACH) study.
