Informational handout boosts patient outcomes and follow up for Lung Cancer Screening

This study found that an informational handout for lung cancer screening results improved patient understanding of their disease. This is important because it increased follow-up adherence and benefits lung cancer management and outcomes. First author Matthew Triplette was awarded an ALA/ATS/Chest Health Equity Award and Senior Author Kristina Crothers received a Lung Cancer Discovery Award.
