One Antibody to Outsmart the Flu

Scientists, including Luis Martinez-Sobrido, PhD, at Texas Biomedical Research Institute, discovered how a special antibody called 1122A11 can block many different flu viruses. The team found that the antibody attaches to a key part of the virus and works even when the virus tries to change its shape to escape.
