Enroll Now and Receive FREE Air Cleaning Supplies
Poor indoor air quality can make breathing harder for children and adults who have lung diseases like asthma and COPD. It can make their symptoms worse, cause more flare-ups, and sometimes lead to hospital visits. This problem is often worse in the winter, when people keep their homes closed to stay warm. When windows and doors are shut, dust, pet dander and chemicals can get trapped inside the air we breathe.
That’s why the Lung Association is giving away cleaning supplies (up to $300 value) to participants who join the Oregon Clean Air at Home program to help improve indoor air quality and lung disease symptoms. Individuals who enroll between now and April 30th will receive a FREE virtual home assessment with a trained Lung Health Navigator to identify indoor air pollutants that worsen lung disease symptoms.
Supplies that may be offered include kitchen and bathroom cleaning supplies, mattress and pillow covers, food storage containers, fire safety supplies and more. The Lung Association is also giving away specialty cleaning devices. 60 specialty cleaning devices are available with this offer. Eligible participants may receive one of the following items:
- HEPA vacuum
- Dehumidifier
- Portable air cleaner
