Rub Bar-B-Que Serves Up Easy Way for Diners to Help Improve Lung Health

Customers can save lives with their meals through the “LungLove” movement

Now through May 31, diners at any The Rub Bar-B-Que restaurant in Olathe, Kansas can use their love of bar-b-que to show their love for lung health. Diners can make a donation to the American Lung Association in Kansas & Greater Kansas City when they checkout starting May 1.

The effort is part of a campaign to educate Americans on the importance of lung health and what they can do to keep their lungs healthy; as well as a partnership between The Rub Bar-B-Que and the Lung Association.

“We believe in giving back to the community and we are very grateful for our customers who visit our restaurant located at K10 and Ridgeview.” “Dan Janssen, owner of The Rub Bar-B-Que. “This is why we’re so proud to support the Lung Association’s efforts to save lives in Greater Kansas City,”

“We are so honored to partner with The Rub Bar-B-Que on this campaign and commend them on their dedication to give back to the community,” said Linda Crider, Executive Director of the Lung Association in Kansas & Greater Kansas City. “More than 1 million people suffer from lung disease in Kansas and Missouri. The support of partners like The Rub Bar-B-Que help us to continue providing programs, research, and advocacy efforts to everyone impacted by lung disease.”
