November 12: Chicago-area Mothers and Leaders Honored at ‘Outstanding Mother Award Dinner’

Four leaders recognized for their impact at work, home and their community

This fall the American Lung Association in Greater Chicago’s 2024 Outstanding Mother Award will honor some of the area’s most incredible women leaders and mothers.

The annual Outstanding Mother Award Dinner presented by University of Chicago Medicine celebrates the role mothers have as mentors, guardians, leaders, supporters and caregivers. It also shines a spotlight on professional development for women and honors four female business leaders from across Chicagoland while also bringing awareness to the importance of lung screening.

WHO: 2024 Chicago Outstanding Mother Award Dinner. This year’s honorees are:

  • Kelly Dittmann, President & CEO Sustene Global
  • Anna Kooi, National Practice Leader Wipfli

WHAT: Black-tie event to recognize four Chicagoland women for their ability to build successful careers while balancing motherhood and community service

WHY: Celebrate motherhood by recognizing women who prioritize their families and community service while balancing demanding careers. The festive event raises awareness and supports the professional development of women while also raising critical funds for the Lung Association’s life-saving work in the fight against lung disease, and in support of clean air.
