Nearly $600K Raised at Lung Association Gala for Lung Health

Hundreds of Hoosiers dress up and donate to help end lung disease

Hundreds of Hoosiers glammed up for a good cause at the American Lung Association in Indiana’s 15th annual Evening of Promise Gala: Diamonds & Denim last month. The one-of-a-kind event held at the Fishers Event Center on April 26th raised nearly $600,000.

450 Gala attendees were treated to local cuisine, signature drinks, and live music. They also enjoyed a silent and live auction to raise funds to support lung disease and lung cancer research, programs, education, and advocacy.

“The funds raised will help our ongoing efforts to end lung cancer and lung disease,” said Tanya Husain, executive director Lung Association in Indiana. “It was an unforgettable evening for a great cause, and we are so grateful for everyone in the community who came out to support lung health.”

Funds raised at the Evening of Promise Gala: Diamonds & Denim will help more than 1,164,000 Hoosiers living with lung disease.
