Pickleball is a “Big Dill”: Lung Association to host Inaugural Pickleball Tournament at Chicken N Pickle

Pickleball players of all skill levels will play to promote lung health

Next month hundreds of Missourians will be showing off their skills at metro St. Louis’ first Pickleball Tournament. The American Lung Association of Missouri’s Emerging Leaders are hosting the matches at Chicken N Pickle in St. Charles on Saturday September 14th. Some 818,000 people in Missouri have lung disease, and funds raised at the tournament will provide critical support for lifesaving research and early detection initiatives in Missouri. The event is open to players of all skill levels with single player tickets at $50 and tickets for a team of two at $100.

“This is a thrilling new opportunity for our Emerging Leaders to raise awareness about the mission of the American Lung Association which is to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease,” said Clare LaBlance, Emerging Leaders Vice-Chair for the Lung Association in Missouri. “We’re excited to be part of this fun event and help Missourians breathe easier.”
