Climbers Raise $225K at Fight For Air Climb Tampa

Funds raised will help Floridians with lung disease

This morning, more than 650 people laced up their gym shoes and took to the stairs of the Bank of America Plaza for the American Lung Association’s Fight For Air Climb. The family friendly event was sponsored by Raymond James and raised $225,000 (and counting).

Families, friends, firefighters and corporate teams from across the Gulf Coast of Florida climbed 42 floors or 914 steps to the top of the Plaza to raise critical funds and awareness to help the 2.8 million Floridians living with lung disease.

The American Lung Association is grateful to everyone that came out to climb and support lung health and appreciates all the funds raised. The $225,000 will also help with ongoing efforts and programs to end lung cancer and lung disease in Greater Tampa.

Thank you to Raymond James for serving as the signature sponsor for the Fight For Air Climb Tampa.
