Climbers Raise Nearly $80K at The Vue for Lung Health

More than 150 participated in Lung Association event to help find cure for lung disease

This morning, more than 150 people raised nearly $80,000 at the 2026 Fight For Air Climb Charlotte. The event supports nearly 1.5 million people living with lung disease in North Carolina.

Climbers of all skill levels raced to the top of The Vue to raise awareness and money to fight lung disease through research, education, and advocacy.

“Thanks to the determination of our supporters and climbers we raised nearly $80,000 to help ongoing efforts to end lung cancer and lung disease in North Carolina,” said Ciera Springer, Development Coordinator, American Lung Association in North Carolina. “We are very grateful to everyone that came out to support lung health and so proud of the funds raised.”

The Lung Association looks forward to next year’s Charlotte Climb and to continuing to work to improve lung health and prevent lung disease in North Carolina.
