Sip and Savor; The Las Olas Wine & Food Festival is Officially Back for its 25th Anniversary

After a complicated year and a half for in-person events, the American Lung Association in South Florida officially announced today that the Las Olas Wine & Food Festival will return on November 19.

This year, attendees will come together for the first time in nearly two years to enjoy the fantastic culinary talents of South Florida while raising money for a good cause. Guests will sip, sample, and enjoy dishes from 40 of South Florida’s finest restaurants and more than 45 international wineries, spirits brands and breweries. The 2021 event will be one for the ages as Las Olas Wine and Food Festival celebrates the 25th anniversary of Fort Lauderdale’s largest wine and food festival to hit the beautiful streets of Las Olas.

“25 years ago, the first Las Olas Wine and Food Festival took place to benefit the American Lung Association in South Florida and to celebrate the culinary arts of Fort Lauderdale and its surrounding areas. This event is a staple of Fort Lauderdale, and we are so happy to bring it back to Las Olas Boulevard,” said Hernan Millan, VP Senior Market Manager Domestic Retail Banking at AMERANT and chair of the Lung Association’s South Florida Leadership Board. “And more importantly, this event raises money to support the Lung Association at a time when lung health is more important than ever.”

Money raised at the Las Olas Wine & Food Festival will fund the Lung Association’s efforts to end lung cancer and lung disease, as well as support the organization’s COVID-19 Action Initiative. The COVID-19 Action Initiative is an investment to address COVID-19 and protect against future respiratory virus pandemics. The initiative works with public and private entities to increase research collaboration and develop new vaccines, detection tests and treatment therapies.

The 2021 VIP event experience is hosted by Florida Power and Light.
