I was diagnosed with COPD gold standard 3 in 2018 and retired due to disability. Breathing was tough and my mobility was very limited. By 2022 at 30% oxygen saturation, I became a prime candidate for the Zephyr lung valves and have sustained better health, mobility and almost 50% oxygen saturation ever since. I have been blessed. Of course air quality, climate change, perfumes and most smells affect me negatively, so I have action plans that help alleviate my reactions in these situations. More research is needed to treat lung diseases more effectively.
