After being diagnosed over 18 years ago with COPD and Asthma while working for the fire department, I did not know how my life would change. Lung disease is part of my life, not who I am. Instead of giving up and saying poor me, I have made it my mission to join with the American Lung Association to make a world free of lung diseases. The ALA has given me the platform to share my story and help everyone who is struggling get the kind of support they need not just locally, but nationally.
