My husband passed away from NSCLC. He was a car painter. The medical laws allow ONLY smokers to get scanned. He did NOT smoke. He should have been included among those who can get scanned due to his occupation. This country’s medical laws are abominable…. looking back I see he was at highest risk.  More people are getting LC now. New laws are needed to allow scans for entire population! How do we change these laws? A lot of peole get diagnosed by accident. It is obvious laws need to change NOW.
