With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Padernacht is a talent and human capital expert and CEO of Ncline Leadership Strategies, specializing in the development of organizations and their leaders, teams, and employees. She applies current, validated change-related strategies to her coaching, training, speaking, facilitating, and consulting services to drive business results, strengthen leadership effectiveness, build-up cultures and teams, and promote engagement, change resilience, DEI, and wellbeing. Working with organizations in various industries, from multinational public corporations to privately held small businesses in healthcare, technology, digital media, entertainment, financial and legal services, higher education, government, and the arts, she enables leaders and their teams to negotiate, pivot, innovate, or transform to meet the disruptive volatility facing their industry.
Dr. Padernacht is also an Excellence in Teaching award-winning faculty at University of California Irvine, Paul Merage School of Business, where she teaches in the MBA, Merage Institute, and Executive Education programs. She holds a Doctor of Education from the University of Southern California in Organizational Change and Leadership, a Master of Arts from Columbia University in Organizational Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in Psychology and The Social & Ethical Issues in the Life Sciences.
In 2010, she joined the American Lung Association Los Angeles Board and was recruited to join the California Board, then the Pacific-West Regional Board. She has served on numerous committees and initiatives, including advocacy, board and leadership development, and the current board discussions on DEI. She joined the American Lung Association’s National Board on June 24, 2023.
