James W. Sanders is a leader with over 25 years of professional experience. His areas of expertise span across banking (consumer, small business, and commercial lending), financial planning, investing & portfolio management, business strategy, non-profit management and board leadership. James attended Virginia State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics, in addition to earning an Executive MBA from Temple University’s, Fox School of Business.
He currently serves as a Senior Vice President, Community Development Officer for Univest Bank. James also serves as Chairman of board of directors for the African American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ and DE. Other servant leadership roles include, Vice Chairman of the American Lung Association Philadelphia Leadership board, Redevelopment Authority of Montgomery County (PA) Board of Directors, The Enterprise Center, and the Philadelphia Accelerator Fund.
He is a graduate of Virginia State University, where he earned a B.S. Economics, and an Executive MBA from Temple University. James is proud father of two (2) adult children and one granddaughter.
