Cynthia M., UT

I just read (Reader's Digest, Oct. 2015) that "Elderly women in the 25 percent most polluted places had a decrease in white matter [brain] volume equal to one to two more years of aging compared with those in the 25 percent least polluted places." At my age, 73, when I'm eating organic, exercising, trying to be my best possible older self, it's frustrating to think my city's air is working against me.
