For 30 years as a teacher, I watched more and more of my students begin to require the use of inhalers until my retirement in 2011. My drawer held more of these because students needed to use them many times after recess or gym and on hot days, since our city school was not air conditioned. This is just one other thing that teachers are having to deal with when the weather becomes unbearable. City air is highly polluted and is causing asthma.
