Advocacy Day 2024 Call Script

Thank you for calling your Senators and Representatives in Washington as part of the 2024 LUNG FORCE Advocacy Day!  We have two asks for Congress this year:  

1. Support $51.3 billion in funding for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) so there can be better early detection, treatments and cures for lung cancer; and 
2. Invest $11.6 billion in funding for the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) to rebuild healthier communities and protect our nation’s health from disease, including lung cancer. 

In order to maximize the effectiveness of your calls, please call on Wednesday, March 20.

Please only call the office of the two Senators and one House member that represent your state and congressional district (three calls total) on Wednesday, March 20.
