Obesity-related pediatric asthma: relationships between pulmonary function and clinical outcomes

This study examined children with obesity-related asthma and found that they had worse pulmonary function and more hospitalizations compared to non-obese children with asthma. This highlights the importance of measuring pulmonary function in obesity-related pediatric asthma. Senior author Jonathan Feldman was funded by the American Lung Association Social Behavior Grant.
