Study summarizes how cancer cells evade detection and destruction by immune systems

This literature review summarizes the current knowledge of the mechanisms of how cancer cells evade detection and destruction by the immune system. This paper is important because it is a checkpoint for the research community to quickly synthesize all available knowledge and work on more effective treatments for cancer.  This work was supported by a Stand Up To Cancer-LUNGevity-American Lung Association Lung Cancer Interception Dream Team Translational Research Grant.
