Thank you for signing the pledge to provide flu education to your workforce. In the 2019-2020 flu season, it is estimated that influenza sent up to 400,000 people to the hospital with flu complications and caused an estimated 22,000 deaths in the United States. We are coming upon an uncertain flu season, and everyone has a role to play in protecting our communities.

The American Lung Association will provide you with a workplace flu education toolkit as soon as it becomes available. Use this toolkit to educate your workforce about influenza and the benefits of flu vaccination. We ask you to share this pledge and resources with business owners, workplace management, contractors and wellness vendors as you see fit. The more workplaces we get on board, the bigger the difference we can make in protecting our communities. Stay healthy.
