Oxygen Ball Raises $257,000 in Breathtaking Fundraiser to End Lung Disease

Hundreds of supporters dress up and donate to the Lung Association
“Sea la vie!” 290 people were in an island state of mind last night at the American Lung Association in Wisconsin’s Oxygen Ball 2023 Tropical Nights. The event, locally presented by UnitedHealthcare, was held at Discovery World on Milwaukee’s lakefront and attendees raised more than $257,000.

The fundraiser included a silent auction, live auction, and a fund-a-need with all the funds supporting lung disease and lung cancer research, education and more.

“We are so grateful for everyone in the community who came out to support us and to support lung health,” said Megan Cordova, executive director Lung Association, Wisconsin. “The funds raised will help our ongoing efforts to end lung cancer and lung disease.”

Participants also enjoyed tropical themed cocktails and exquisite cuisine.

“It was an unforgettable evening for a great cause,” said Cordova.

Since 2007, the Oxygen Ball has raised over $4.9 million dollars.
