Rub Bar-B-Que Dishes Out A Way for Diners to Make a Difference with Their Meal

Customers can save lives through new “LungLove” movement

Now through June 30, diners at any The Rub Bar-B-Que restaurant in Olathe, Kansas can show their love for lung health by making a donation to the American Lung Association in Kansas & Greater Kansas City at the checkout counter.

It’s all part of a partnership between The Rub Bar-B-Que and the Lung Association to help promote lung health through the LungLove movement; a new campaign to educate Americans on the importance of lung health and what they can do to keep their lungs healthy.

“We are so proud to support the Lung Association in its efforts to save lives through its educational programs right here in Greater Kansas City,” Dan Janssen, owner of The Rub Bar-B-Que. “We believe in giving back to the community as we are so grateful for our customers who visit our restaurant located at K10 and Ridgeview.”

“In Kansas and Missouri, more than 1 million people suffer from lung disease. With the support of partners like The Rub Bar-B-Que we can continue providing programs, research, and advocacy efforts to everyone impacted by lung disease,” said Linda Crider, Executive Director of the Lung Association in Kansas & Greater Kansas City. “. The campaign runs through June 30 and customers can make a donation when ordering online or at The Rub Bar-B-Que located at K10 and Ridgeview.
