200 South Florida Residents Fund Over $238,000 for Lung Cancer Research

This past Saturday, June 4, 200 people gathered for the American Lung Association in South Florida’s Memorial Cancer Institute LUNG FORCE Sunset Soiree presented by the Erwin and Barbara Mautner Charitable Foundation. The event raised over $238,000 for lung cancer research and efforts to end lung cancer and all lung diseases.

“After holding the event virtually last year, it was so nice to be back in person where we were able to provide several custom elements to this year’s Sunset Soiree that made the experience interactive and memorable for all of our guests,” shares Lori Adelson, Esq., of HR Law Pro and the Sunset Soiree Co-Chair. “Highlights from the evening included a sip ‘n’ shop Style Lounge with men’s and women’s fashions, curated by Bungalow Bazaar, an illustration station with personalized fashion sketches by the Architect of Style, Gissi Jimenez, a turquoise Henna Bar, and a tempting silent auction with a variety of vacation packages, dining experiences and more to delight any bidder!”

“Thank you to all our guests, sponsors, LUNG FORCE Heroes, and attendees who came together to make a difference in the lives of those impacted by lung disease and lung cancer,” added Co-Chair Jill Ginsberg, Esq. of Ginsberg Shulman, PL Attorneys at Law. “We are proud to have raised over $238,000 to support this life-saving mission, which is very fitting considering that every year lung cancer impacts over 235,000 families.”
