Juanita Mora, M.D., is a highly accomplished physician and leader in the field of allergy and immunology. With a passion for improving the lives of patients, she has dedicated her career to providing exceptional medical care and advocating for lung health.

Driven by her passion for medicine, she obtained her Medical Doctorate Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency program, as well as an Allergy and Immunology Fellowship, at Rush University Medical Center. She also received a Masters of Clinical Research degree from Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Mora currently serves as a Physician and CEO at the Chicago Allergy Center. Since 2014, she has been instrumental in managing the center while also delivering personalized care to her patients.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Mora has served as a National Volunteer Medical Spokesperson for the American Lung Association since 2018 and has become a highly sought-after expert in the field. She has been featured on various prominent media outlets, including NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, The New York Times, CNN, USA Today and NPR. Through these interviews, she has effectively conveyed vital information to the public, debunking misconceptions, and providing accurate insights on young vaping, tobacco cessation, the health impacts of poor air quality, asthma, RSV and other respiratory conditions. She also joined the American Lung Association’s National Board on June 24, 2023.
