Stephanie E.

Three years ago, when I was 45 years old, I was diagnosed with ALK1+ lung cancer. For three months my doctors tried to find out why I was so short of breath with a chronic cough. Then I had a CT and they found multiple tumors in my lung, liver and scattered lesions. My biopsy was immediately sent for genetic testing and found out I had ALK. I take oral chemo twice a day, every day...and will have to for the foreseeable future.

My wish, my prayer, is that a cure can be found, not just for my kind of lung cancer, but all lung cancer.
