My dad was diagnosed with liver cancer in November 2011. Not long after my family's world was rocked, we found out his liver cancer came from stage 4 lung cancer and the only option we had was chemo for symptom relief. He was always in severe pain from either his back or legs, and if he wasn't in pain he was so nauseous he couldn't eat. He completed one chemo session before losing his battle two very short months due to complications. My father was a Vietnam veteran and my HERO. Not a day goes by I don't think of him.
