I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and tested positive with ALK gene mutation in December 2016. I have been on medication for a year now. Side affects have caused cataracts to grow and impair my vision. I have had surgery on both eyes and I'm seeing great at this point. I also have swelling in my ankles and feet. But most days I feel great without any problems. My next consultation is in two weeks, but as of last report, lungs were clear with no signs of tumors.
