Steve O’Kane is a seasoned operations professional with more than 25 years of results-oriented leadership. His focused, growth-oriented management has produced scalable and dependable services and solutions to internal teams and external customers. He works with hospitals, medical groups, and community health centers to support them with strategic planning, leadership development and project management. Previously he served as the CEO of the Council of Community Clinics (CCC), a non-profit organization represents and supports 16 community health centers with over 100 sites of care in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial Counties in their efforts to offer access to quality health care, with an emphasis on low and uninsured populations.
Mr. O’Kane has been an active volunteer with the American Lung Association for over 35 years, serving on many boards and committees. In addition to his work with the American Lung Association, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Rest Haven Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association for Mental Illness (NAMI) San Diego. Steve serves as the Treasurer for San Diego National Alliance for Mental Illness. In the past he has served as Chair of the Rancho Family YMCA Board of Directors and Chair of the Community Health Improvement Partners (CHIP). Mr. O’Kane is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and he received his MBA degree from California State University Fresno.
