Patty Ginsburg is a consultant and writer in Anchorage. She joined the former ALA-AIW in 2010 and chaired the CEO Search Committee. Patty is a past board member of the Anchorage Animal Control Advisory Board and KSKA Public Radio. Her interest in the ALA stems from being a 10-year survivor of stage 3-B non small-cell lung cancer, and she enjoys giving back in thanks for her good fortune in beating bad odds. She has a passion for physical activity, and her “keep moving” mantra is a way of life. Originally from California, she obtained a B.A. in Philosophy from UC Berkeley and moved to Alaska 30 years ago. She has worked in journalism, politics and public relations. Her husband Steve Lindbeck is president & general manager of Alaska Public Telecommunications, Inc.
