Antibodies against endogenous retroviruses promote lung cancer immunotherapy

This study used endogenous (from within the body) antibodies to attack tumors in non-small cell lung cancer, using both animal and human tumor cells. This finding is important because it deepens our understanding of immunotherapies and will ultimately improve patient survival.  This study was funded by the Stand Up To Cancer‐LUNGevity-American Lung Association Lung Cancer Interception Dream Team Translational Research Grant.
