Lung Association Gala “Promises” to be a good time for a good cause

Grab your high heels! Pull out your best sport coat! And get ready to treat yourself to a little glam for a good cause at the American Lung Association in Missouri’s annual Evening of Promise Gala. This year’s splashy affair kicks off at CITYPARK, home of the St. Louis City, SC on Thursday June 15 from 6:30p – 9:30p.

Ascension Charity Classic is the presenting sponsor of the event which promises to be an unforgettable experience.  

Attendees will find several fun activities at the venue including live music by the local jazz band, the Usual Suspects, exquisite local cuisine, plus a live silent auction. All of the wining, dining and celebration is being done to raise money to support lifesaving research, local programs and advocacy for some 900,000 Missourians living with lung disease.

“This is our fourth year holding the Evening of Promise Gala and we’re so excited to have it at CITYPARK,” said Brett Schuette, Executive Director, Lung Association, Missouri. “It’s a brand-new stadium, and that will add to the already electrified atmosphere for Gala attendees.”

Organizers hope to raise $178,000 this year and tickets can purchased on the lung association website lung.org/stlpromise.
