This was the 19th year of the Fight For Air Climb. For the event, participants climbed 1,700 stairs throughout loanDepot park, Home of the Miami Marlins.
“Once again, this event proved to be as moving as it was rewarding for everyone who participated,” said Chrissy Cohen, executive director for the Lung Association. “Thank you to all of our participants, volunteers and sponsors who came together to make a difference in the lives of people facing lung disease, lung cancer and COVID-19.”
In total, the Miami Fight For Air Climb resulted in:
- 550 registered participants;
- 55 teams; and
- $205,000 raised and counting!
Funds raised from the Fight For Air Climb, support the mission of the American Lung Association and their efforts to defeat lung cancer, champion clean air, improve the quality of life for those with lung disease and their families, and to create a tobacco-free future.
