Over the weekend, more than 400 people participated in the American Lung Association in Florida’s LUNG FORCE Run/Walk presented by Eddie Fisher Wealth Strategies of Raymond James at Baldwin Park’s Harbor View Park. The event raised more than $85,000 to fund the Lung Association’s efforts to end lung cancer.
This is the 9th year of the LUNG FORCE Run/Walk in Orlando. For the event, participants ran or walked by the beautiful Lake Baldwin. “Once again, this event proved to be as moving as it was rewarding for everyone who participated,” said Kent and Debra Smith, members of the LUNG FORCE Cabinet. “Thank you to all of our participants, volunteers and sponsors who came together to make a difference in the lives of people facing lung disease, lung cancer and COVID-19.”
Money raised from the LUNG FORCE Run/Walk supports the work of the American Lung Association to defeat lung cancer, improve the air we breathe, reduce the burden of lung disease on individuals and their families, and eliminate tobacco use and tobacco-related diseases.
