I was 52 when diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis due to the COVID-19 virus destroying my lungs. There is no cure for this lung disease. All you can do is live day by day your best life and be grateful you’re alive. This is my story. Don’t take life for granted. You never know your last day. I pray one day, there will be a cure. People don’t understand the pain inside me. They say, “Well, you look healthy.” Never judge a book by its cover. Read the whole book and learn from others. All I can do is surrender and surround myself with caring people. Unfortunately, others don’t understand this disease, and we must educate society more. The doctors stated the COVID virus did this to my lungs. I am grateful I am still alive. Maybe my little story will impact one person’s life to keep going.
