I am a 57 Year old grandmother of two wonderful boys and I was recently diagnosed with stage 3a lung cancer. I took control of my treatment immediately but must credit my husband of 38 years for standing at my side, asking questions, demanding answers and prodding me on. I'm now in the early stages of treatment and find that being naked for tests and treatments can be hard on my dignity but there are many others like me (unfortunately) so I'm in good company. I have a team of people who really want the best for me. To all those who are healthy, pray for those who aren't, wrap your arms around someone who needs it and count your blessings.
