On January 22, 2021 my mother was admitted to the hospital, while at my sisters house in Florida, with pneumonia and a collapsed lung.  After three hospital stays, we finally got the diagnoses of stage IV lung cancer. She immediately started immunotherapy and chemo which seemed to have made a positive change and her oncologists gave us the go ahead to get her home to Michigan for continued immunotherapy. We knew she was a fighter and we are so proud of her fight.

Unfortunately, she passed away July 13, 2021, just four days before her flight was scheduled home.  My siblings and I want to continue to fight this battle for her.
