Amanda L., AL

My mother, Annette, was diagnosed with small-cell lung cancer in May 2022. I have been traveling back and forth from Birmingham, AL, to Croydon, PA, for the past year to see my mom for her treatments. I was there for her first treatment, chemo and radiation. It was tough. My husband and kid are hundreds of miles away, and my mom going through these treatments was and is hard. This year, around August 10, we were informed my mom's cancer has now spread past her lungs. My mom is currently doing immunotherapy. All I want is for her to keep fighting, to keep going, and to know I am always here.
