This grade tells you if your state has taken action to limit or prohibit the sale of flavored tobacco products. Flavored tobacco products play a key role in attracting and addicting kids to these deadly products. In 2022, about 85% of high school student and middle school students who vape used flavored e-cigarettes.
Tobacco companies have also focused their marketing of menthol cigarettes on certain communities, particularly Black Americans.
