Lungtropolis: Where Kids with Asthma Learn to Play

The American Lung Association and ORCAS, Inc. bring you Lungtropolis®: Where Kids with Asthma Learn to Play. This is an interactive website designed for children with asthma between the ages of 5 to 10 years and their parents. It provides a fun, interactive way to learn about asthma. This program was made possible from a grant from the National Institutes of Health, Small Business Innovation Research program.

Lungtropolis Kids is an interactive, web-based game for children and Lungtropolis Parents provides information and resources to caregivers of children with asthma. By playing the game, children learn about asthma and how to manage it.

For the Kids
The city of Lungtropolis is under attack from the mucus mob, and it's up to your child to save it! When kids visit Lungtropolis, they become asthma control agents and conquer the mucus mob. While playing, they watch videos and get helpful tips to learn how to control their asthma.

For Parents
Here 's what you need to know to care for a child with asthma. Find out what asthma is all about and how to manage and control it. Get advice on using asthma medicines and what to do in an emergency. Plus, learn how to talk to your medical provider—and your child—about managing asthma.
