Edna Fiore

35-year career as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, retired in 1996; I also have a background as a news reporter, freelance journalist, editor and historian for the Colorado Lariat Loop Historical District.

For the past 20 years I have been a Patient Advocate and activist for COPD Awareness and Education as a community liaison with the American Lung Association of Colorado, a founding member of the organizing committee for the annual Thomas L. Petty MD Moving Mountains Lung Health Conference, executive board member of EFFORTS (emphysema Foundation For Our Right to Survive) internet Support organization, Political Advocacy Contact Team of the American Association of Respiratory Therapy member, consultant for the FDA Patient Representative program and member of the National Jewish Health COPD Education program committee.
